Personal identification information
There are two ways that we lawfully collect personal data (any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.)
We may collect personal identification information from data subjects (defined as an identifiable person who is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identification number or to one or more factors specific to his physical, physiological, mental, economic, cultural or social identity) by contractual necessity. For example; when a data subject makes a purchase via our website. This personal data includes, names and contact telephone numbers. This information is necessary to keep a data subject informed on a purchase or notified of any change that might occur to the item they will receive. The relevant personal details are used only for each order and are destroyed thereafter should the data subject not wish to consent to further correspondence.
We may use the information data subjects provide about themselves when placing an order only to provide service to that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide the service. We may also use the email address provided to send them information and updates pertaining to their order.
Data subjects are provided with the option to consent when registering on the site, placing an order or subscribing to the newsletter.
Consent should be informed and made available in clear language without the use of jargon. All data subjects are provided with the option to opt-out of giving their consent at any time and may do so through unsubscribing from the newsletter by clicking the link. We include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email. Data subjects may also request to opt-out by writing an email to [email protected]. Henley Menswear might make use of the e-shot programme MailChimp, which enables the tracking of subscribers to ensure that data subjects who have opted-out do not receive further correspondence without their consent.
Data subjects who have opted out have the right to be forgotten and all information pertaining to the relevant data subjects will be deleted with the only exception being to keep track of the subjects not to contact.
The personal data collected by Henley Menswear is made available to data subjects at any time without reimbursement. Only relevant personal data will be collected and kept to a minimum. Any excessive data will be deleted.
Henley Menswear aims to only retain the necessary information required to perform contractual obligations. Any personal data that has not been consented will be deleted unless otherwise indicated for future legislative reasons or regulatory requirements that prevent its deletion.
